- Metal Bar: This is the most powerful tool on the X4. Removes embedded hair with ease. However, it can snag certain fabrics, so that is why we have provided you with more gentle rubber edges too.
- Row of Small Rubber Ridges: Great for removing pet hair from all surfaces including delicates.
- Row of Large Rubber Ridges: Same as the smaller ridges, but this these ones work better for plusher fabrics (like a shag carpet).
- Large Squeegee Blade (the last ridge on the side with the Small Rubber Ridges): When you are finished lifting the hair from the surface you are cleaning, use the squeegee to collect it all into a pile for easy pickup.

What is the difference between Tough Mode and Gentle Mode?
What is the difference between Tough Mode and Gentle Mode?
Tough Mode is the metal bar on the top. The metal bar makes it easier to remove embedded pet hair. However, it can damage or snag on delicate fabrics.
In those cases, we recommend switching to Gentle Mode (the three rubber edges). These will remove the same amount of pet hair as the metal bar; you just have to apply more pressure.

I am having issues with static while using the FurDozer. What can I do?
If static is a problem, wet the FurDozer and shake off any excess water before use; or lightly spray the surface to be cleaned with an anti-static spray before cleaning.
