USE: Place Polar Bowl in the freezer for several hours. Upon removal, fill with fresh cold water and let your pet enjoy! For best results, start with the coldest water possible. The length of the cooling effect will vary with ambient air temperature.
CARE: Clean before freezing. Dishwasher safe.
CAUTION: If placed in a dishwasher, the bowl will become very hot & should be handled with care.
Bowl is made of stainless steel. Gel inside is non-toxic and freezable.

Great dish for hot days

I have used these for years & they are amazing for the length of time water stays cold in hot weather. I always fill the bowl up 1/4 of the way with water & then freeze which I feel makes the water stay cold longer. I don't recommend doing it as I'm taking a chance I'm not damaging the bowl in some way. I will suffer the consequences &I replace them if I damage them. I've had my 8 bowls for several years now & at one time they had a larger bowl & discontinued it. I don't know why & really wish they would offer it again. It was the best for large dogs. Please, please bring it back!!!

I ordered two of these bowls so I would have a backup that would be cold and ready. I’m glad I did. These work great however I wish they were larger.
