If you have a small, small dog, the container will be the right size. I have a Malinois and after attempting to pick up a "drop", I've got a mess in the box a jammed door and the scoop tines covered with excrement thanow has to be cleaned up and i find that im wearing a set of gloves to use a "glove free" device. AHHHH!!!!with

We're sorry to hear about this experience. It sounds like the bag has air pockets preventing the door from closing. We recommend that you tap the bin on the ground, which should remove the pockets. Once you are finished scooping we recommend cleaning off the product with a hose. This is an excellent product, but unfortunately it was a fail for our family. We own a Morkie and a Toy Poodle. The tines on the scooper are spaced too far apart to pick up their small sized droppings. I wish the product listing had given some guidance for owners with small breeds. I believe the cat scooper would be a better fit for us. Other than that, the product works as described and I think would be an excellent purchase for most medium to large dogs.
