Tips on Using the Neater Scooper XL
Neater Scooper XL bags and bin should accommodate the daily waste from 2 or more cats or large breed cats.
Instructions for Inserting Handle & Bags
- After unboxing the Neater Scooper XL, you will see that the handle is not attached to the scoop head. To attach the handle, simply line it up with the curved opening on the scoop head, hold back the trap door, and push the handle into the opening until you hear it click into place.
- Tear a bag off the roll and line the bin with the bag. Make sure to push the bag into all four corners of the bottom of the bin to get the maximum bag capacity. There will be a good amount of excess bag, just fold that over the sides of the bin.
- Reattach the scoop head by pushing it down onto the bin. You should hear it click into place.
- Now, you're ready to go!
Tips for Use
- Be sure to sift out clean litter by shaking the scoop back and forth before dumping the waste into the bin to avoid filling the bin with clean litter.
- After every few scoops, shake the bin or tap the bin on the floor to eliminate air pockets and to get the waste to settle to the bottom of the bin, which will create more room to continue scooping.
- If a large clump gets caught between the scoop and the bin, simply shake the scoop a bit in the upright position to get the clump to fall into the bin.
- For extremely large clumps, you can use the edge of the scoop to cut the clump in half before scooping.
