Instructions for Inserting Handle & Bags
- After unboxing the Lift N' Bag, you will see that the handle is not attached to the scoop head. To attach the handle, line it up with the curved opening on the scoop head, hold back the trap door, and push the handle into the opening until you hear it click into place.
- Then, tear a bag off the roll and line the bin with it. Make sure to push the bag into all four corners of the bottom of the bin to get the maximum bag capacity. There will be a good amount of excess bag; fold that over the sides of the bin.
- Reattach the scoop head by pushing it down onto the bin. You should hear it click into place.
- Now, you're ready to go!
Tips for Use
- Slide the tines UNDER the waste (the bin should be at about a 45-degree angle from the ground - see image below) and lift. Do not try to poke the waste with the tines. If you do accidentally get waste stuck on the tines, simply slide it off in the grass and scoop again. Also, don't go too far under the waste, or you might end up ripping up dirt and grass.
- For smaller dog poop, ensure the waste is close to the trap door opening before lifting. If you lift too soon, you will not engage the smaller tines that are designed to catch those small pieces.
- When not using your Lift N' Bag, remove the scoop head, flip it over, and caddy it inside the waste bin for discreet storage.
- To clean, rinse off with a garden hose.
- Always order Lift N' Bag replacement bags. These bags have been specially designed to fit the Lift N' Bag bin. Standard dog waste bags are smaller in dimensions.
