Slow down your pet's eating with The Niner Nine Peak Slow Feed Bowl! The Niner's raised peaks create small food pockets that stop your pet from eating too fast. Eating at a slower pace reduces bloat, vomiting, and indigestion. Slowing down rapid eating also helps to prevent obesity.
The Niner fits inside most raised feeders with 2-quart bowls, as well as the Neater Feeder Deluxe Large and the Neater Feeder Express Medium to Large. You can also use The Niner outside of a feeder. It has non-skid rubber dots on the bottom to prevent sliding on the floor.
We designed The Niner to be comfortable for all dogs, even those with flat faces like Bulldogs or Pugs. The rounded peaks are gentle on teeth and gums and ensure that your pet has a comfortable eating experience.
The Niner is designed and Made in the USA of ABS that is BPA and phthalate-free, so it is safe for pets. It is also top-rack dishwasher safe.
My dog inhales any food or treat that is given to her. The slow feed bowl has been great in helping her to slow down! She had no trouble getting used to it and her new feeder. Really like this product.
In theory this seemed like something I might try for my cat, however it was too large.
Hi Judy,
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the Niner is made for medium to large dogs. For cats, check out our 2.5 slow feed bowl linked below.
My dog eats dehydrated dog food that needs to be mixed with liquid. He had been gulping it down too much and this slow feeder was the perfect answer. He has no more bloat. Dish is easy to clean and fits perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.
Works great
This slow feed bowl design is fantastic! I had been using the stainless steel slow feed which looks similar to a jello ring mold. That bowl did help in slowing the dogs down but they eventually figured it out and they were not eating as slowly as I preferred. This design has them slowing way down and perfectly fits into the raised dog feeder. I do recommend this slow feeder.
