Slow down your pet's eating with The Niner Nine Peak Slow Feed Bowl! The Niner's raised peaks create small food pockets that stop your pet from eating too fast. Eating at a slower pace reduces bloat, vomiting, and indigestion. Slowing down rapid eating also helps to prevent obesity.
The Niner fits inside most raised feeders with 2-quart bowls, as well as the Neater Feeder Deluxe Large and the Neater Feeder Express Medium to Large. You can also use The Niner outside of a feeder. It has non-skid rubber dots on the bottom to prevent sliding on the floor.
We designed The Niner to be comfortable for all dogs, even those with flat faces like Bulldogs or Pugs. The rounded peaks are gentle on teeth and gums and ensure that your pet has a comfortable eating experience.

Great slow feeder bowl!
I purchased this slow feeder because we already owned the set from years back. I had bought a floor slow maze style which worked well for my big German Shepard but I wasn’t crazy about it being placed on the mat and him leaning forward and low for his food so I was searching for one that would fit his original set up and found one that fits perfectly. This is smaller than his other one and isn’t the maze feature but this cone top style and size will do. The height is much better for the safe eating height for larger dogs so that’s Very important to me. Less chocking likely .the reason for this rating is the size of the bowl only, not that it doesn’t do it’s intended job.
Our 105 lb. Lab inhales his food and he drinks like a horse. The Niner Slow Feed Bowl has helped in getting him to slow down his eating. He went from devouring two cups of kibble in a minute to 4 - 1/2 minutes. I count that as a win. We bought a second bowl to try for his water and that has also helped. I have to be careful about filling it so the water doesn't splash out, but otherwise our dog has easily adjusted to his new bowls.
While the concept is sound.
My puppy didn't miss a beat and gobbled the food down as fast as without.
Also she's already gouged the plastic on the "Teeth" of the bowl.
