I wish I would have found these sooner.The height and design is just right for taller dogs. We love the Bullmastiff breed and they tend to be very messy. These bowls are perfect. We just got 2 new puppies and they will not eat out of seperate bowls so these giant bowls are awesome for now and as they grow in to bigger dogs. We bought 3 giant bowls 2 for food and water inside and 1 for water outside. Would recommend for all size pets.
I love this! I put 2 smaller food bowls inside it so when the cats eat and always spill food it lands in the bigger bowl so I don’t have food all over the floor and I can just dump it out instead of always sweeping. It’s the perfect size and doesn’t take up much room.
Here's a story about Ruby, my African Bullfrog. I found him as a little thing that fit in the palm of my hand, in a small tank on the sidewalk on a hot day. He was sick, dehydrated and on the brink of death. I've never cared for an amphibian, but was determined to save him. After proper care and lots of love, he is now thriving. The thing is, African Bullfrogs get huge, FAST. He's gone through several water dishes in the last few months, and the cost adds up. I needed to find a water dish that would fit in his tank, was deep enough for him to submerge himself, wide enough for him to swim around, and shallow enough for him to climb out of. Bowls that size can run upwards of $50. So I did some shopping around, stumbled upon the Big Bowl and decided to give it a try. It fits perfectly in his tank, he can submerge himself, swim around, he can climb out on his own, and it should accommodate him while he continues to grow. I know that's not the intended use, but it works!
Awesome! Only bowl I have found that my dog Scofield cannot flip over, he loves to push and stir his food before grabbing one morsel. The design is perfect and so different from the typical round style. The extension legs are easy to put on or off and love the little rubber inserts. I do not write many reviews but Scofield and I were very impressed and we just love this bowl.
I wish they were a tad taller. I'll watch for extension legs to be in stock.
